From boho-chic to elegant minimalism, the versatility of white interiors in celebrity bedrooms cannot be overstated. For some actors and influencers, white serves as the perfect canvas for content creation, while for others it offers respite from the intensity of the spotlight. Let's take a closer look at how different design elements come together in these celebrity bedrooms to create serene yet striking spaces.

Alaya F's Hustle Home

Alaya F loves to call this apartment her “hustle home”. “I am a true Mumbaikar at heart,” says the 27 year-old actor, standing in her cream-coloured living room. In the four years since she made her Bollywood acting debut with Jawaani Jaaneman, she’s been tirelessly unlocking new dimensions in her creative pursuits as a fitness and beauty content creator. Naturally, a multi-hyphenate creator whose work and life are intertwined needs a space that mirrors her ambitions.

And then there are the personal touches—a wall of all her trophies, a couple of frames with Alaya F’s intricate pen drawings, hardcover memoirs of her grandparents and a projector screen in addition to a TV for those movie nights in her bedroom, candles everywhere you look—that reveal little secrets about this homeowner. And there’s a tiny staircase next to the bed and a bowl of water by the kitchen door that betrays a hint of the real king of this castle: Alaya F’s furry friend MJ who might even be the reason for the choice of colour palette.

Radhika Seth's Elegant White Interiors

Janvi Thakkar

Radhika Seth has her answer to the common dinner party question, “If you had to choose an alternate career, what would it be?” ready to go. The content creator-actor-podcaster-entrepreneur would happily add 'interior designer' to her ever-expanding repertoire. Yet, unlike most of us, Seth's answer isn't rooted in frivolous fantasies. When the situation presented itself, she rose to the occasion with great enthusiasm and designed her sprawling Mumbai apartment.

In many ways, Seth's home is an investment in her career as a content creator and podcaster. The primary bedroom brings forth a sense of tactile richness. A rug from Jaipur Rugs lines the floor, while soft furnishings from Pottery Barn and West Elm add texture. The wallpaper within the panels is from Elementto. Ultimately however, Seth's home is a space of contrasts. On one hand, it doubles as her studio, her office, and a backdrop for her online persona. On the other, it is a physical foil to the dizzying, fast-paced life of a content creator, where layers of the digital world are peeled back to reveal a tangible sanctuary of calm.

Dhvani Bhanushali's Lofty Oasis

Talib Chitalwala

The Bhanushalis—including dad, Vinod; mom, Rinku; and sister Diya; besides Dhvani herself—had purchased four separate one-bedroom apartments with the intention of merging them all together. But combining said entities was an exercise easier said than done—or as designer Darshini Shah puts it, “a complete logistical nightmare.” One, because breaking down walls meant acquiring unnecessary passages, and two, because determining what to do with those passages was altogether another kettle of fish.

Dhvani reflects, “The brief was to make it a family home, [but also] a reflection of my journey. Being an artist, I often find myself under the arc lights so I wanted a safe haven where I could truly relax and be my creative best.” That she wanted it to be fuss-free and calm yet spaced-out and luxurious meant that Shah had her work cut out for her. (Not that she minded.) “My seed point for any home is the people and their lifestyle. In spite of being such a sensation, Dhvani is all heart and very easy going so we went for an understated luxury that really reflects that spirit.” Dhvani’s bedroom is an embodiment of that sentiment, as it is a French Vanilla haven designed to “leave room for creativity.” Spacious and airy, it cedes the spotlight to the sweeping city views.

Kritika Kamra's Cosy Apartment

Kuber Shah

Stepping into actor Kritika Kamra’s airy yet cosy Mumbai rental apartment, one is immediately struck by subtle sophistication and relaxed vibe. Working with interior designer Purva Agrawal, Kritika has crafted an oasis in the city that perfectly reflects her personal aesthetic, while also providing a chic backdrop for entertaining friends or creating content for social media.

When looking into Kritika Kamra's bedroom, a certain sense of calm and cosiness exudes from it. The room is highlighted by soft pastel pillows and bedding, complimented nicely by the warmer accents provided by the wooden frame of the headboard and bedside tables. Heavy grey curtains allow for the regulation of natural light into the room.

Model and influencer Alanna Panday with a following of over 1 million on Instagram is also the cousin of Bollywood actor Ananya Panday. Recently, she made her OTT debut on Prime Video with The Tribe, a show about young Indian influencers in LA. With an eco-minimalist essence to it, the home flaunts muted accents and a neutral colour palette. Every nook and corner has an Instagram-worthy appeal. Alanna and her husband, Ivor, stayed in an LA apartment before moving into a beach house in California.

With cream coloured walls, light-toned wooden flooring, generous air space just for two or a cluster, and abundance of wicker in décor, the bedroom cuts a luminous figure. The brighter upholstery creates a comforting symphony the minimal elements present within the space. It truly is a room furnished with love and patience to create a safe haven.
