Abundance Of Wicker

Rattan material which is later weaved and called wicker furniture has quickly found itself to be one of the hottest trends in the world of décor. Rattan is so versatile – it can be used for furniture, mirrors, chairs, bedheads, and baskets which found its place in Alanna's eco-minimalistic home. She has embraced the tones of rattan by using it in the colour scheme with textured walls, asymmetrical details, a cream leather sofa, and a furry rug.

Wicker can be prominent in any part of your home. Alanna Panday has furnished her outdoor seating area with large rattan made hammocks, plants and pots.

Pampas Grass And Ceramics

Pampas grass are perfect for home décor and will complete a boho décor style look. The ceramic pots throughout the couples home are a delight and a sight for sore eyes. The pampas and ceramic vase duo truly creates the energy of a light and free-spirited space. The interesting quality of pampas grass is that it has an extended lifespan and can be taken from place to place.

Ceramic décor is a great way to bring texture and colour into your home. Here you can see, Alanna Panday's apartment entrance adorned with a large statement planter complimenting the wooden deck.

Indoor Plants And Positive Energy

The importance of plants in a home undeniable. Feng Shui teachings describes them as home cleansers against bad energies as it protects the space from new people and unwelcoming energies. Alanna's home has many tiny shrubs and planters across the space, spreading good energy throughout.

According to one of Alanna's posts, it was a "big step" for her because her present home is also the first house she moved into: “Besides me moving in with him (Ivor), this was also my first house that I got on my own, I was paying my own rent, and it was just a big step in my life, besides moving in with my boyfriend. Just having my own place.” Alanna's family are quite ecstatic and supportive about this next step in her life.
